According to Dan and Catherine Kleiber - Anisoptera Acres is a family farm run by a husband and wife team with their young sons. We offer pasture-raised pork and beef and free-range chicken and duck. We grow most of our own feed on our 500-acre farm. We use no hormones, antibiotics or animal byproducts in our feed. All of our meat is processed by local, state-inspected facilities. We sell our meat by the cut, as well as by the more economical bulk portions. (Whole, half, or quarter steers and whole or half hogs are available.) Our meat is harvested seasonally; however, most cuts, chicken, and duck are available year round. Bulk orders will be ready for pickup in season. We sell a la carte at Hilldale Farmer?s Market in Madison, WI during the summer. If you are stopping by the market for something special, please call ahead and we?ll save it for you. Orders can also be called in ahead and picked up on farm. Arrangements can usually be made for delivery of large orders within a reasonable distance.
